WHY WITHOUT BAKING SODA? Of course , baking soda deserves full recognition. It is a fantastic natural product, odor-fighting and the star of the other Routine variants. The thing is, baking soda is alkaline and for some people, sometimes, it can upset their pH balance and cause skin irritation. That is why Routine has created some deodorants in the series that are completely free of baking soda. Instead, they contain dietary magnesium, a mineral that, if you don't get enough of, makes your sweat smell worse! Another advantage of magnesium is that it has a relaxing effect on the armpits, which combats stress-induced sweating!
